What is Aromatherapy Massage?

The use of Essential oils in Aromatherapy massage
so they are absorbed into the body, through the
skin and the lungs to work on the tissues, systems and emotions of the
individual - rebalancing, clearing, uplifting or relaxing. The oils come from various parts
of aromatic plants: leaves, flowers, fruit, grass, roots, wood, bark, gum and
blossom. The Essential oil, the essence, is what gives the plant its fragrance.
Each oil has its own, sometimes many, therapeutic qualities,
and they can be blended together to give unique powers of healing. The massage
itself is far more gentler and soothing routine, than Swedish Massage.
Each client receives individualised care and
attention to ensure the combination of chosen aromatherapy oils in the blend,
allows the client to meet their personal goal.
A range of 'home use' preparations are
available for interim use between aromatherapy treatments.
