What is Indian Head Massage?

Indian Head Massage has been around in India
for 4000 years or more, and is an important part of daily life. It’s a combination of friction and pressure massage to the
upper back, shoulders, neck, upper arms, head and face and is non-invasive. it
can be done through clothing, sitting in an office chair, completely clothed.
The treatment can be carried out with cream or essential oils to benefit the
skin, hair and body further. The treatment not only relieves physical symptoms,
but it helps to calm the mind and body, promotes relaxation and improves
concentration.
This is a treatment that can be delivered very
effectively in the workplace.
What will it do for me?
- reduce your stress and induce deep relaxation
- work on your tired and aching muscle tissue, releasing knots and tightness
- improve your circulation
- help to cleanse your body of toxins and impurities
- balance your whole system, allowing all organs and systems of the
body to function better

clearer thinking and concentration

What to expect during a treatment
- Treatment time approximately 40 minutes
- Full Consultation or discussion with regards to previous treatment
- During treatment client is fully dressed or in a gown exposing
only the shoulder
and upper back area, depending on whether an oil or cream medium is to be
used
- Client is sitting on a chair
- Treatment is delivered
- On completion of the
treatment, the client relaxes with water offered
- Client dresses
- Discussion of the therapist's findings and delivery of aftercare advice
- Agreement of treatment plan
